If you know or suspect that your vehicle needs brake repair, make Lakelands Tire & Auto your “go to” shop like our other Greenwood customers do for all their auto repair needs. Any of our auto mechanics will tell you that brake repair and service is one of the core specialty services — along with tires, wheel alignments, oil changes and other services. Our ASE-Certified service consultants and auto mechanics have the unmatched expertise, experience, and equipment to serve you with.
Common symptoms that indicate your vehicle’s brake system needs brake repair include feeling a pull to one side or the other when you push the brake pedal, sensing a pulsing or sponginess when the brake pedal is depressed, hearing a grinding sound while braking, finding your wheels coated with brake dust, and seeing your brake system warning light on your dashboard illuminate and stay on.
Like sorting the wheat from the chaff, here’s what sets Lakelands Tire & Auto apart. Our shop, which has served Greenwood motorists since 1985, is certified by the Better Business Bureau. We’re also the only AAA-approved shop for auto repair in Greenwood County. In addition, our owner, Tommy Chandler, owned a parts store previously, so we know how much brake system parts quality can vary.
Lakelands Tire & Auto has worked honestly and diligently to earn its reputation for delivering the highest level of customer service. Not only are our auto mechanics trained and equipped to handle all major and minor repair services on foreign and domestic vehicles, we back their service with a lifetime warranty on most of the auto repairs we perform. So when we say we’ll fix your car and it’s warrantied, it’s guaranteed for life. Simply stated, we make no compromises when it comes to the safety of you and your family. And of course, that includes brake repairs.
At your request, our auto mechanics will inspect all of the major components of your vehicle’s brake system, including the drums, pads, rotors, shoes and linings, calipers, brake fluid, hydraulics, electronics and more. Then they will give you a written evaluation and estimate for the current condition of the system, including recommended service, replacements, or other auto repairs necessary to maintain and improve your vehicle’s performance. Only after our clients approve and authorize what they want to be done will we begin brake repairs or other auto repairs.
Here at Lakelands Tire & Auto, we believe that’s the level of customer service you expect and deserve. Our customer review reflects this:
“Tommy and his team took great care of my oil change and brake repair. They even did a drop-off and delivery service for me so I didn't have to wait in the lobby. A great combination of quality service and customer commitment. Use this company with confidence.” -- Monica J.
